v0.8.0 gives a new GM a route from world creation to the first round. Start with a world, prepare it, run a round, then use the Library guides as the campaign starts to accumulate material.
Start a first session
Create and open your first world starts with sign-in, the world wizard, opening Aether and the default table layout.
Next, prepare your first session: choose a scene, prepare the cast and handout, invite players, then check the grid, walls and fog.
Run your first session takes the group through player vision, a shown handout, a built-in server roll and the first Combat round. The guides use the same Shattered Meridian campaign.
Keep the Library useful
Organize your world in the Library with Folders, Types, Recent, search, uploads and actor sheets. Records remains available for advanced edits.
Connected notes and handouts introduce pages, ordering, @ references, # live values and backlinks.
Use Share and present Library material when something is ready for the table. The GM can show a page to selected players, see dismissals, and stop presenting without removing the handout from a player's Library.
Website and docs
The approved Aether mark now appears across the product, website, Marketplace, Creator Studio, docs and browser icons. The public website now describes what is live and how system packages add game-specific vocabulary, sheets and automation. Its hero uses the Shattered Meridian session.
The docs carry screenshots beside the tasks. Release posts stay text-only. Roll Tables and physical 3D dice remain outside this first-session path.
