Aether
Build the world. Run the night.
A customizable, browser-based VTT for GMs who want one connected world from prep to play.
Prep the world. Then run it.
Shape scenes with precision.
Adjust dimensions, materials and properties in the Inspector, with custom gizmos built for each type of shape.

Scene building in 2D and 3D
Place walls and props, block token vision, and move between a top-down view and perspective as you build and play.

Scene-aware vision and fog of war.
Draw invisible barriers where you need them, or build walls in Scene Builder and let Aether add the sight boundaries automatically. Each player’s visibility is computed on the server using the same rules in 2D and 3D.

Built for how you actually GM.
Arrange your panels your way.
Open what you need, move tabs between groups, resize panels or pop them out. Each world remembers your layout.

Build your campaign in the Library.
Organize characters, places, lore and handouts into folders and multi-page documents. Reference other entries, reuse live character data, and control what your players get to see.

Extend the way you play.
Install Systems and first- or third-party mods from the Marketplace. Systems shape the rules and content of your world, while mods add new tools and experiences.

Pick up where you left off.
Your undo and redo history stays with the world across sessions, with conflict checks that protect newer changes, and GMs can review player history.

Read the work, not a promise.
The Changelog records what shipped. The Roadmap separates active work from ideas still being explored.
Scene editing, built-in dice and two game systems
Edit scenes from one place, undo more scene actions through History, choose your dice in My Dice, and start worlds with 5E 2024 SRD or Red Runners.
Guided tours and working system world creation
Follow guided tours in Aether and package panels, and create a 5E world from the Marketplace without an artifact-consent mismatch.
Languages, richer surfaces and rules beside your world
Choose English, Brazilian Portuguese or Spanish, use improved materials and clearer 3D dice, and search an installed game system’s rules inside Library.
Editable Shapes and scene controls
Scene Builder gains editable Shapes and a hierarchy for hard-to-pick objects, while scene settings open beside the table and Library edits update without a reload.
A clearer Inspector for scene editing
Scene properties are easier to scan and edit with aligned labels, grouped axes and controls chosen for each kind of value.
Set the Tabletop sun, ambient fill and shadows
Preview a scene's sun direction, height, colour and strength before applying it, choose whether structure, props and token bases cast shadows, and let each reader reduce or disable shadow rendering without changing the table.
