An installed mod can now put animated objects over the Table. The same release upgrades dice-roller into Aether 3D Dice, with server results and per-player display preferences.
Animated mod objects
A mod can describe a bounded shape or an approved GLB model and animate it in world or viewport space. Aether draws it over the existing map, while the regular table controls keep working underneath it.
Aether limits how much the objects can cover and rejects malformed or oversized GLB files before loading. Closing the presentation removes its objects.
Aether 3D Dice
The existing dice-roller install upgrades to Aether 3D Dice, a mod rather than a built-in map feature. It animates d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20, plus percentage rolls as two d10s. Kept and dropped dice still land on the result recorded in Chat. The dice use a fixed animation, not physics. Flat modifiers remain text in Chat.
Each player chooses whether to animate their own, other players' or the GM's rolls. That preference is saved per player and world. A hidden roll is never animated for someone who cannot see it.
See the dice-roller manifest id listing for the reviewed install.
Rolls that do not fit stay in Chat without a partial animation. Click the map or press Escape to clear the presentation.
