Aether can play audio for a table now. Upload a cue, build a sequence or soundscape, and let players join audio from their own browsers.

Audio at the table

Upload MP3, WAV, Ogg, WebM or M4A files up to 100 MiB. Use them for cues, sequences, random groups and layered soundscapes. The audio panel has play, pause, seek, fade and stop controls. A random choice is made once for the table, so everyone hears the same track.

Each player chooses whether to join audio. Master, music, ambience and effects volume stay on that player's device.

Scenes and handouts

Scene activation can start or stop audio. A presented handout can play a cue for its audience. Someone who joins a running world receives its current audio state. Manual playback does not resume after a world restarts.

Soundscapes

Soundscapes 0.1.0 is the first Aether-owned audio mod. It combines cues already uploaded to the world into layers with their own volume and start delay, then adds fade-in and stop-fade controls.

It does not include a music or sound-effects catalogue. Add audio you have the right to use in Aether's Audio panel, then arrange those cues in Soundscapes.
