Aether v0.31.0 introduces the new Scenes panel, saved workspace layouts, and folder-aware creation in the Library. Full-quality dice also keep their shadows while rolling.
Manage every scene from one panel
The new Scenes panel replaces Current Scene and gives you one place to manage the scenes in a world.
Create an empty scene, preview one privately, rename it, edit its bounds, grid or background, or make it current for everyone at the table.
Deleting a scene also deletes the objects it owns, with the entire deletion recorded as one History action. The current scene, the world’s only scene, and scenes referenced by another document cannot be deleted.
Save your workspace layouts
Save your current panel layout by name and return to it later. You can replace an existing layout or remove one you no longer need.
Aether also includes three built-in layouts for Play, Combat and World building.
Your saved layouts belong to your account in that world and sync across devices. Applying one only changes your own workspace.
Create Library content where you’re working
Select a folder and use New or the keyboard action to create content directly inside it. You can also right-click a folder to create documents, upload files or add subfolders there.
If an entry is selected instead, new content is created alongside it.
Content types that cannot live inside folders are not shown in these menus.
Dice keep their shadows while rolling
At full quality, dice shadows now move with the dice throughout the roll instead of appearing only after they land.
