Create and play with the open Dungeons and Dragons 2024 fifth-edition rules from SRD 5.2.1.
Build a character, then play it
Choose from 12 classes, 12 included subclasses, 9 species and 4 backgrounds. The builder creates a level-one character with ability scores, proficiencies, equipment and spell choices.
The character sheet keeps attacks, spells, inventory, features, Hit Points, resources, conditions, rests, background and notes together. Level Up advances the current class through its included SRD progression and adds the included subclass. Multiclass creation is not part of version 0.0.3.
Use the Compendium
Open any of 235 monsters and 95 animals as a compact stat block, or create a world-owned NPC from one.
NPCs keep live Hit Points and conditions, and all of their sheet information can be customized. The same NPC can switch between an editable Manage view and a compact stat block.
Read the rules beside your world
Search 339 spells, 258 magic items, 158 equipment records and 154 glossary entries alongside classes, subclasses, species, backgrounds and feats.
Rules open as formatted reference pages with their SRD page and section. Duplicate an installed entry when you need an editable world copy.
Roll from the sheet
Ability checks, saving throws, Initiative, weapon attacks and supported creature actions roll directly from their sheets. GMs can choose public or private normal, advantage and disadvantage rolls.
Straightforward weapon and creature attacks can apply damage. Conditional mechanics remain guided rolls or rules cards when the GM still needs to decide the outcome.
